Meet Mary Rose
"There is always a way forward with language." ~ Mahogany Browne
Mary Rose is a therapist with a background in social work who specializes in supporting people with ADHD, autism (ASD), chronic illness, and the caregivers who hold it all together — including those navigating a late diagnosis and making sense of a lifetime of experiences through a new lens. She knows how transformative it can be to finally have language for who you've always been.
Her path through social work brought her into spaces where she watched, again and again, how people move through some of the hardest chapters of life — including work with adolescents and with individuals facing cancer. Those experiences didn't just sharpen her skills; they deepened her conviction that people are far more capable than they're often given credit for. She carries that belief into every session.
Mary Rose believes neurodivergent minds and people living with chronic conditions don't need to be fixed — they need real support systems, the right tools, and a space where they're truly seen. And caregivers, she's quick to add, deserve that same care poured back into them.
Clients tend to feel safe with her quickly, and that trust is where the real work begins. She's especially good at helping people reframe what they've been taught to see as shortcomings, and learn to understand — even appreciate — all the parts of themselves. One of her favorite tools is the idea of circles of control: getting clear on what's actually within your power, then lining up your choices with your values inside that space. She lives for the moment a client says, "I've never thought of it like that before."
Outside the therapy room, you'll find Mary Rose running, lost in a good book, writing, cooking something new, or chasing down a song that shifts her whole mood. She brings that same curiosity and joy into her work.
